About Miramar, Florida

Miramar is a diverse, master-planned city in southern Broward County, stretching in a long east-west strip between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Developer A.L. Mailman bought the original land from H.D. Perry Sr. in 1953 and built 56 low-cost concrete, flat-roofed homes that sold quickly.
