Arcadia is an affluent San Gabriel Valley city built on the former ranch of mining and real-estate magnate Elias 'Lucky' Baldwin, who supposedly declared 'By Gads! This is paradise!' when he saw it in 1875. It is defined by horse racing at historic Santa Anita Park, the 111-acre Los Angeles County Arboretum, free-roaming peacocks descended from Baldwin's flock, and one of Southern California's most celebrated Taiwanese and Chinese dining scenes. Once nearly all-white, the city is now roughly two-thirds Asian American.

Initial coaching sessions are $400 for a 60-minute first session, and follow-up sessions are $150 for 30 minutes. Holistic wellness coaching is educational and supportive; it is not medical care and not a substitute for advice from a licensed medical professional.
