Founded by antislavery New England settlers during Bleeding Kansas, it nearly became a town called 'Boston' before Cincinnati colonists arriving by steamboat renamed it. Today it blends tallgrass prairie, a lively student district called Aggieville, and the neighboring Army post at Fort Riley.

Initial coaching sessions are $400 for a 60-minute first session, and follow-up sessions are $150 for 30 minutes. Holistic wellness coaching is educational and supportive; it is not medical care and not a substitute for advice from a licensed medical professional.
