Platted in 1805 by trader Alexander Fulton, the town was burned nearly to the ground by Union troops in 1864 and rebuilt into Central Louisiana's commercial and medical hub. Today it anchors the nine-parish "Cenla" region with pharmaceutical, forestry, and healthcare industry.

Initial coaching sessions are $400 for a 60-minute first session, and follow-up sessions are $150 for 30 minutes. Holistic wellness coaching is educational and supportive; it is not medical care and not a substitute for advice from a licensed medical professional.
