Coaching is a working relationship, not a prescription. Here is how it actually runs.
We start with the whole story
The first session is long on purpose. What you have already tried, what helped, what made things worse, and what a normal day looks like for you. Most people have never been asked all of it in one sitting.
You get a plan in writing
Food, sleep, movement and stress, written down in the order you should tackle them, so you are not holding it all in your head between sessions.
We adjust as we go
Follow-up sessions are for reviewing what worked and changing what did not. Nothing here is fixed in stone and nothing is one size fits all.
Your own care team stays in charge
Coaching sits alongside the care you already receive. Mathew has been the patient himself through serious illness, so he understands what it is like to be the person in the chair. He will never ask you to stop working with your own providers.
Coaching supports your general wellbeing. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it is not a substitute for care from your own healthcare providers.
